The foundation of my work is the integration and
synergy of skin, energy healing, spirituality, and wellness.
I believe in going beyond the surface and the vanity of beauty. I believe in peeling back the layers of who you are and who you know you are meant to become.
When we begin to look at the deeper layers within ourselves, things like stress, shame, self doubt, and the way energy moves through the body begins to reveal themselves. These things influence who we are, our skin, and how we show up in the world.
Here I’ll share my life lessons, philosophy, reflections, and teachings to help you embody your authentic self and heal your skin.
I’m not a writer, but I have a lot to say. So give me grace when I make mistakes 🤍
My Journey
My journey began 10 years ago when I went back to school for the second time to become a Medical Aesthetician. I was constantly watching makeup videos from people who paved the way like Jackie Aina, Alissa Ashley, and Kathleen Lights.
After feeling lost in my career direction and spending countless hours and money watching and buying products, I thought to myself, I might as well do what I’m watching all day. The only problem was that I wasn’t artistic at all. That’s where my love and passion for skincare began. Then it dawned on me that there wasn’t any anyone that looked like me in skincare.
I took a leap of faith and quit my toxic but well paying job at the time to start over. It didn’t take long before I started doing mini facials at Sephora in 2016 while studying. I immediately fell in love with doing facials. I was so eager to officially be an Aesthetician that I had a job at a spa before I even graduated.
During my studies, I was introduced to Reiki. I had no idea what it was, nor did I care at the time, but lo and behold I ended up becoming a Reiki Master in 2024 as well.
Months after becoming an Aesthetician, I realized that skin is not only impacted by what we put on it, but also by what we put into our bodies. This realization has currently led me to study nutrition and its impact on the skin and our energy field.
Taking that leap of faith to become an Aesthetician 10 years ago quite literally changed my life and it continues to evolve. I used that same faith and courage to open my own skin & reiki studio in Hamilton, ON. This journey has opened new avenues for healing in the beauty industry that we’ve never seen and I’m excited to share it all with you.
